discussing our treatment and idea with Matt

In our lesson today, Phill taught us what a Treatment is. In terms of a music video, a treatment is a document made mostly of pictures, by a director essentially pitching their idea for a music video. There will be a few words to describe an idea or an image but mostly images from the internet to visually show the artist and label what they are planning on doing. 

Phill showed us some good samples of professional treatments and we are now going to make one as a group for our video.

We then had a discussion with Matt about our video and spoke to him about the research we did into indie pop videos in relation to what we want to do. He understood our vision and explained to us it would be a lot of work especially with set and design. 

He made us realise we have a lot more to consider in terms of what footage we want to actually shoot. There is a lot of detail that will go into this video and we have to consider what will really set it apart and make it look as professional as possible.
